WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING TO THE SAILBOAT OR CATAMARAN IN SAN BLAS
1. ID or Passport SUPER IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL
Before arriving at the port of Carti, you will find the Control Point of the Region, where each traveler must show their personal identity documents, whether they are Panamanian, resident or foreigner. If you do not have an identification document, you will not be allowed access.
2. Cash
In San Blas, there are no ATMs, nor are credit card payments accepted. For this reason, it is advisable to carry some cash in case you want to buy a souvenir or buy an extra product,
3. Sunscreen
You cannot leave it in any way, most of your stay you will be enjoying wonderful beaches with crystal clear waters, and this implies a lot of exposure to the sun's rays! Take sunscreen with you to avoid or reduce burns.
4. Insect repellent "Just in case"
Remember that our visits to the San Blas islands are completely natural, this means that depending on the season in which you decide to go, you will find mosquitoes, take your repellent with you and get rid of bites.

You are allowed to bring all kinds of food as an appetizer between meals.
6. Cooler with Soft Drinks
Without a doubt the sun will make you thirsty during the outward trip to the San Blas islands, bring your small cooler with your favorite drinks and snacks, the boats will offer you drinks such as water, sodas, beers and perhaps some rum.
7. Snorkeling equipment
Do not miss the experience of seeing the great coral reefs and marine life that you will find only in San Blas, it is one of the favorite activities of our visitors.\Although we usually bring all the boats, due to Covid19 it is recommended that you bring your own .
8. Flashlight
Light is obtained through solar panels in most of the boats in San Blas, so it is necessary to save energy, so it is advisable to have your own flashlight.
9. Waterproof Envelope
During our tour, it is likely that the water will splash or rain in the transport by boat from the port of Carti to the sailboat or catamaran, so it is recommended that you bring a waterproof envelope where you can place the items that you do not want to get wet.
10. Small hand luggage
Do not get complicated with large and heavy suitcases that are difficult to transport, take what is necessary for your stay.
